Cologne-Bonn Airport
Cologne - Bonn airport is the most important low-cost center in continental Europe, with over 130 destinations and an annual traffic of 9.9 million passengers for 2006. In terms of passengers it is on seventh place for Germany, and according to the transported cargo - on second plane. For the past five years, the number of passengers served has increased by 92%, mainly due to the advent of low-cost transporters, but the longest track (3815 meters) converted the airport into the only intercontinental base for flights in Northern Westphalia.
