Rome – Fiumicino is an International Airport, working 24/7. There are three passenger terminals and one airport hotel. The services for travelers are the following: post office, bank, exchange bureaus, machines exchange, restaurants, cafes, bars, VIP room, duty free stores, newspapers, magazines, cigarettes, gifts, pharmacy, tourist agency, car rental, taxis, first aid room, disabled facilities, and business center.

Transportation to the City

 

By Car

The airport, also known as "Leonardo da Vinci", is located 32 km from Rome. From the ring road (GRA), follow the highway Rome – Fiumicino, in order to go directly to the airport.

 

By Taxi

A taxi to the airport will cost you about 40 euros for one direction and it takes approximately 45 minutes.

 

By Bus

A good transport connection from Rome is the Leonardo Express. The train departs every half hour from Central Station Termini and travels 30 minutes to the airport. The first train is at 6.37am and the last at 11.37pm. The price of a one-way ticket is € 14.
