Budapest Franz Liszt Airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 1. It is advisable that you check in advance the terminal you arrive at, since the distance between them is large.
Transportation to the City
By Car
By car the center of Budapest can be reached for 20 min using the high-speed way designed specifically for the passengers of the airport. The way is separated from the city traffic with a barrier and traffic jams are possible only in exceptional circumstances.
By Taxi
The taxi to the airport cost around 20 euro for one direction.
By Train
A train of the MAV network is traveling from Ferihegy Station to the Central station Nyugati. The cost of a one-way ticket is 370 HUF (1.20 euro). The time duration of the travel is between 20 and 25 minutes.
By Bus
The bus 93 transports passengers from Terminal 1 to the closest subway station – Kobanya – Kispest Metro Station. From there, the Blue line (Subway 3) will transport you to Deak Ferenc Squeare for 20 minutes. The special bus line 200 serves terminals 1 and 2 to the subway with adapted buses and an extended schedule.
