Bologna Airport – General Information
Airport Bologna G. Marconi is the third most important airport in Italy. It has a runway for transoceanic flights and to this moment it served 20 million passengers. It has the most modern system for ecological control of air and noise pollution as well as an extremely reliable security system.
Transportation to the City
The airport is located 6 km from the center of Bologna. If you travel by car, you should go to the ring road (Tangenziale), from where to divert on exit No. 4
Traveling by taxi is quick and convenient. The short distance makes it relatively cheaply.
The bus AEROBUS - BLQ travels to and from the airport. The initial stop is the Central Station. The journey takes 20 minutes; the one-way ticket costs € 5 and can be purchased in the bus. The airport offers convenient connection from and to Modena and Siena.
