Sofia Airport
Sofia Airport has two passenger terminals. The regular airlines perform their flights from Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is for low-cost and charter flights.
Transport to the city
By car:
Sofia Airport is located 10 km northeast of the city center. It has convenient access for cars. If you are traveling by car, take bul. Tsarigradsko shose going in the direction of Plovdiv and turn left into bul. Bryuksel. Shortly after the exit for residential district Mladost.
By taxi:
Taxi from the airport to the city center costs about 8 lev. We strongly recommend you to use only licensed taxi company OK Supertrans.
By bus:
Besides the traditional bus number 84, traveling from Terminal 1 to the University of Sofia, at your disposal is the bus number 284, traveling the same route, but continued to Terminal 2. Buses run at intervals of 15-30 minutes depending on the time and day. The price of a single ticket is 1 lev and traveling in one direction takes about 25 minutes. For more information: www.sumc.bg.
