Treviso Venice Airport
Treviso Airport is a small airport which is located 20 km North of Venice and 3 km from Treviso. Basically it is used by low-cost airlines as an alternative to the larger airport "Marco Polo”.
Services
At the airport there are no hotels, there are a small duty free shop, bookstore, and three restaurants. In the Arrivals Hall there are ATMs and currency exchange bureau. There is no possibility for storing the luggage, a VIP lounge or the opportunity to rent a room for a business meeting, for example. Treviso Airport does not offer separate services for people with disabilities, but the staff is ready to help when needed.
Transportation to the City
By Car
The airport is located near road SS-515 between Treviso and Padua, near the intersection with SS-53. The connection with Venice is highway A 27. If you are traveling from Venice, you should follow the exit Treviso Sud, then SS-53 towards Treviso-Castelfranco-Vicenza and then turn left at the traffic lights towards Padua. The airport is located 300 meters after the traffic lights on the left. Traveling by car from / to Venice is about 30 minutes.
If you want to rent a car, you can do this in the arrivals hall, where offices of various companies, including Europcar, Maggiore, Auto Europa, Avis and Hertz, are located.
By Taxi
You can use also a taxi, but bear in mind that the offered cost is usually higher than the real one.
By Train
There are no trains to the airport, but between the town of Treviso and Venice there is one. The ticket costs 3.20 euro and the time duration is 30 minutes.
By Bus
Special buses of the company ATVO serve the line from Piazzale Roma in Venice to the airport. The bus departs from the airport after every arrived flight and waits if there is a flight delay. The cost of the ticket is € 7 and can be purchased from the arrivals hall.
The ACTT buses connect the airport with Treviso. The station is at the main road outside the airport. Line 6 will take you to the railway station in Treviso for about 15 minutes and then to the city center, stopping at Piazza Duomo. The bus leaves every 30 minutes, and ticket cost is one euro cheaper if you purchase it from the airport and not from the driver.
The bus to Padua costs € 3.10 and to Treviso - €0.72.
